LinkedIn & sales navigator

Exhibition space sales was the predominate revenue stream for the organisation along with sponsorships. As the Digital Marketing Manager, one of my key responsibilities was to ensure sales teams were posting relevant show content for exhibitors and using sales navigator effectively to generate enquiries and build a pipleine.

lead generation

Leas generation was separated into exhibitors and sponsors. Using the likes of Salesforce and Sales Navigator to canvas prospects with my team on behalf of and alongside the sales team. This would then build a pipeline which would be supported with content marketing, outbound communications and face-to-face visits.

social media management

Above-the-line event awareness content in-line with sponsorship and exhibitor contract agreements. As well as build-up, on-the-day and post-show content to build followers and engagement for the brand of the show.

events management

Working with the operations team to manage delegate sales, traffic generation, email marketing campaigns and then ticketing on the day with content to support. Then running organic social media on the day, interviewing various stakeholders for show/company content for highlights and future event promotions.

Starting with the organisation straight out of university, I wanted to hit the ground running on their digital ecosystem. I completed my DMI qualification and audited all shows & company touchpoints. Implementing digital marketing strategies and rollout. Gaining a promotion to manager and then managing a team of 2/3 people to support these plans.
